The quiet concern surrounding the TCU football team is now as loud as their beloved Frog Horn: Will they check out? Who leaves first?

After orchestrating one of the more embarrassing home losses in recent memory on Friday night against 16.5-point underdog Houston, all of the ugly possibilities are on the table for TCU. It’s the first week of October, and if the transfer portal was open today you have to wonder which Horned Frog players would have jumped in.

TCU people are confident that quarterback Josh Hoover will not leave, but, in this era, who rules out such a scenario?

Hoover trying to make too much happen, w/o a steady running game. Playing from behind is also a factor. He's locking in on receivers , which leads to interceptions.

Hope he stays, but if he leaves after this season, it won't be the biggest problem this program has to deal with.

If they don't find a way to protect him better and find a running game, he is going to continue to press and make bad throws. Also, the opposing defense does not have to worry about him running like they did with Max.

Was I supposed to type something here?
I don't care who is back there, if he cannot get protection he will not produce. It's just that simple.

We pay people a great deal of money to 1.) Develop players to be able to play the game, 2.) See that they are playing together as a unit, and 3.) Fix problems with these items as they become apparent. So far, our Crack Staff has failed at all three of these (A Trifecta!), and things have been degenerating with no hint of improvement. Usually, one tends to see just a little improvement from week to week. We haven't.
