‘Nothing feels better than home’: Which North Crowley defensive tackle commit to TCU?

North Crowley’s Sterlin Brooks, a class of 2024 defensive tackle, announced his commitment to the TCU Horned Frogs on Dave Campbell’s Texas Football’s YouTube channel.

North Crowley High School is 11 miles away from Amon G. Carter Stadium. The Fort Worth Star Telegram spoke with Brooks regarding his decision to commit to the Horned Frogs.

“Nothing feels better than home,” Brooks said.

I was 6'1" and 190 lbs. in high school and squatted 605.
None the less sounds like a great commit!

How big was the guy spotting you?

At Texas High School Power Lifting Championships this year that squat of 635 lbs would have got you runner-up in the 148 lb class.

It was a school record, so two offensive linemen 6’2” 210, the linebacker coach and about 20-25 teammates. Full disclosure I was using a squat rack.
