I enjoyed coaching HS and college hoops. I’m glad I got out of coaching those levels when my kids were young. I am not interested in doing it again. I doubt that will ever change.
Hopefully he is trying to rebuild the bridges he burned yesterday. Get straight Eddie and move on to future success.
Never say never. Go Frogs! There is no rebuilding the bridge. That ship has sailed. However you want to phrase it, nothing done by either side can recover what was lost. Time to move on.
Eddie just needs to move on too. Stop posting about the team he abandoned at such a pivotal time in such a way that it could not be reversed.
What are you talking about can't be reversed? Two individuals sit down and hash it out. It happens every day. There is no rebuilding the bridge. That ship has sailed. However you want to phrase it, nothing done by either side can recover what was lost. Time to move on.

I for one hope they can mend fences. I love that kid, but he’s got to get it together. What are you talking about can't be reversed? Two individuals sit down and hash it out. It happens every day.
Will it happen here? I don't know. But can it? Sure, it's a conversation away.
Yeah…its not just ”two” is the problem. What are you talking about can't be reversed? Two individuals sit down and hash it out. It happens every day.

This will be about him and his teammates if he can mend things with Dixon. What he did to his teammates is far worse IMO.What are you talking about can't be reversed? Two individuals sit down and hash it out. It happens every day.

Page 3 I think.Where are the text messages located?
Thanks!Page 3 I think.
This is what lost me. Why would Dixon send the text about the transfer portal dates if he and momma Lampkin didn't talk?Well, this is about to get interesting and not in a good way....

No no no, all Eddie said is Jamie’s a racist and possibly the worst person in the world who makes life not worth living. . . He never said he didn’t want to play for the guy, come on, now. There is no rebuilding the bridge. That ship has sailed. However you want to phrase it, nothing done by either side can recover what was lost. Time to move on.

I think those texts were from an asst. coach. This is what lost me. Why would Dixon send the text about the transfer portal dates if he and momma Lampkin didn't talk?
Is that text really from Dixon? If it is, then who did Dixon talk too? Is momma Lampkin lying about things?
What am I missing here?
The cancel culture vultures on social media and sports media coming for the head of Jamie Dixon, before any facts have come out, disgust me.
Me either. I'm sure there are a few out there, the usual suspects, feigning outrage, but I haven't seen much at all from the major media sources. A little bit surprised to be honest.Haven’t seen “the cancel culture vultures” after Dixon.
The DMN hit piece probably the worst of it but even that didn’t call for his resignation or suspension.
CNN did the usual wokism headline screaming racism, then prints that the parents and other coaches of color saying they’ve never heard a hint of it ever out of JD’s mouth.Haven’t seen “the cancel culture vultures” after Dixon.

KANSAS CITY – Eddie Lampkin Jr. has stepped away from TCU basketball to deal with personal matters, team officials confirmed to Frogs Today on Wednesday.
Lampkin did not travel with the team to Kansas City, as the Frogs prepare for the Big 12 Conference tournament, which kicks off Wednesday evening.
TCU’s tournament run begins Thursday night at 8:30 p.m., against 3-seed Kansas State.
The sophomore missed time earlier this season for personal reasons as well.
Lampkin has started 51 games over the past two seasons for the Horned Frogs, averaging 5.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game over the course of his career.
Lampkin had been dealing with ankle issues for the bulk of conference play this year, after suffering a high ankle sprain in the first half of TCU’s 83-60 win over Kansas on January 21st.
He has also been dealing with another injury that kept him out in TCU’s regular season finale against Oklahoma.
In his multiple absences since, Xavier Cork and JaKobe Coles have been called upon to play significant minutes at center. While both have been effective offensively, TCU has struggled defensively and on the boards – two staples of their game that coach Jamie Dixon and his staff have emphasized for years.
This is a developing story, and we will keep you updated.
