After getting up 0-2 on the lead off man, batter battles back to 3-2 and drops a single into RCF.
Next batter pops up to Weik just into foul territory.
Pitch in the dirt escapes Elander and the runner advances to 2B
F8 for second out and runner holds at 2B
Starratt K's the next batter to end the Eagles' 4th. Frogs 2-0.

ORU brings in a reliever to start the 4th inning. Smolen has an ERA of 6.25 ERA and a record of 2-3.
Elander leads off with a walk.
Pitcher throwing mostly sloth balls to the plate.
Weik flies out easily to LF.
I believe that we have only hit one ball on the ground so far.
First base umpire goes down...tripped on his own feet. Elander back safely.
Featherston drives a line drive off the third baseman's glove into LF for a single. Runners on 2B and 1B with one out.
Pena drives a hard ground ball off the first baseman's glove for a single into RF. Elander scores. Frogs 3-0.
Featherston advances to 3B on the play.
Johnson squeezes Featherston in for the fourth run. Johnson out at first. Pena advances to 2B with two outs.
KVT falls behind 0-2 and takes one WAY too close for comfort before getting to 2-2 and K's swinging. Headed to 5th Inning up 4-0.

Next batter is the lead off man...going into the third time around the order. Runner at first must be glacierly slow as we aren't holding him on with 2-2 count.

Witte appears to be standing near the tennis courts and rolls over a pitch and is retired 6-3 for out two. Man...he's a long way away from the plate.....

Soft liner into RCF is hauled in by a speedy KVT for first out of the 6th.

Runner steals 2B on first pitch ball.
2 run HR makes the game 4-2 in favor of the Frogs. Give-em credit. They earned those runs.

New pitcher is a lefty from the Blue Raider 11U Pony League. 5' 9".... has a nifty pick-off move. Must be used to having runners on....

Thru 6 innings: Frogs have 6 runs on 7 hits and one error. Geagles have two runs on six hits and two errors. Eric Miller to the hill for the Frogs. Kyle did his job! No walks....

How you K looking on an 11 pitch at-bat is beyond me....after 5 straight fouls.

Witte resumes his positioning in the batters box and inexplicably they come inside and get away with it. F8.
Coats out on a 6-3 for the final out of the 7th. Lilliputian pitcher with mega-hair doing okay.
Headed to 8th up by four: 6-2. I'd feel better with 7.
