Vandy isn't the typical SEC school. I am sure their administration won't roll over and kick this under the rug.

Additionally, the burden of proof is lower in a grand jury. The defendants are not allowed to present evidence or confront witnesses.

I don't fault schools/teams when kids do something wrong. Trying to keep 100+ males age 18-22 in line at all times is damn near impossible. Obviously this is more serious then your public intoxication, etc. But it seems like Vandy handled it appropriately, which is all they can do.

A buddy of mine passed the Bar our year but failed the August MPRE (spent the post-bar week drinking and thought he'd coast through hungover not having studied and having taken PR as a 2L). So he didn't get sworn in when Bar results came in. Sucked.
