Surprised UConn isn't higher. A men's hoops national title, women finish second, and a Fiesta Bowl appearance. Also, their baseball was in a regional. They must be awful at everything else.

I think it could be weighted slightly different. Every athletic dept has a different amount of times with Stanford fielding a team in almost every sport offered. I think they Gould instead only value the say highest 6 teams for both mens and womens. If you have 8 teams and two didn't earn hardly any points they aren't counted toward the standings and only each schools top 6 teams for both genders.
