Our sister school... sure why not?
Sister school as far as colors go....ACU is a Church of Christ - supported school....TCU is Disciples of Christ - related school....Both emerged from the Second Great Awakening revivals in the early 1800s....

Scheduling will continue to be a problem regarding national perception of the relevance of any school's athletic program....

CoC and DoC are bitter rivals. Very much like bloods and crips.

TCU adds Abilene Christian to 2025 football schedule

By Kevin Kelley

The TCU Horned Frogs have added the Abilene Christian Wildcats to their 2025 football schedule, according to the official website of ACU.

TCU will host Abilene Christian at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025. The game will mark the third overall meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.

This is very disappointing as a season ticket holder. I had hope that Dykes would change our scheduling

with texas and OU gone, scheduling these types of games does not help drive season ticket sales. With no blue bloods in the Big 12 they need to ramp up the non conference schedule. Outside of OSU and Tech it is likely most other games can be bought on Stub Hub for less that $20. This year there were several games that could be had for $6 (stub hub minimum price).

I would urge you to do a little more research on the origins of the CoC. This isn't a good format to have a discussion, but do some more research. Have a great day and Go Frogs!!
