Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston is embarrassing defenders in camp already with highlight catches and an athletic display.

During a recent practice, Johnston climbed the ladder, snagged a jump ball over the top of a defender, and got both feet down for the hypothetical score.

If he can just learn to catch the hard pass to the numbers with his hands, he will be a monster. Make him stretch and catch the ball with his hands, like in the video, he is almost unstoppable. Right at him and, at least at TCU, he would let the ball get to his pads and drop the ball. He just need to catch the ball. Then he is super dangerous. Lots of YAC.

Chargers fans are acting like it's Christmas with this guy.
Like they're unwrapping their biggest present.
Makes me selfishly envious.
I'm counting on Morris to spread the ball and staying healthy.

And, Sonny is saying this year's crop of receivers will be better, maybe the BEST EVER!! How's that sport fans?

think this is a case where schrodinger's cat can be applied, will not be surprised that as a collective this group of receivers is better and deeper than last year

especially with the mix of experienced hands such as jpr and the upside potential of the young guys who either are true freshmen or redshirt freshmen

q however is more talented than any of the receivers in that room and does have the skills and potential to be a unicorn at the position

I just hope we run the "throw it deep to Savion play" anytime he is single covered. He's not as gifted as Q, but he rarely loses when he's single covered on a deep route.
