Pac is holding out to leverage the online streaming options, Amazon and Apple. I think this was basically already known.

P12‘s last gasp is Amazon/Apple streaming, but Amazon is already discussing a (what if ) package with the B10 for adding Stanford, Cal, Or., & Wash.

Think of this ordeal from Colorado and ASU points of view.
Right now they can’t even talk to decent coaching candidates, as they have no idea how much they can afford to pay.

Not surprising, they weren’t expected to find deal fit in the initial window.
They will have more success in an open bid, but just about everybody has been surprised how soft the demand has been thus far.
Apple and Amazon? Maybe, but not just for one or a few games, they want all the core football including the PAC championship, and that’s a huge gamble for a conference already struggling with relevance.
There is interest in incorporating the PAC networks at the two tech companies, they have a need for some of those assets. That could be an X factor.
