Why everything on and off the field is a blur for Cowboys’ speedster KaVontae Turpin

If you don’t know what being nearsighted means, it’s an eye condition causing distant objects to appear blurry.
Wide receiver/returner KaVontae Turpin, who’s produced three of the fastest plays in the NFL this season, is nearsighted.
It hasn’t stopped him on the field.
Maybe the locker room or classroom.
“I always knew I was blind,” he joked as the Cowboys’ prepared for a Thanksgiving Day game against the Giants. “I knew. I never took the time out [for glasses]. I didn’t feel like I needed them. On the football field, I don’t feel like I needed them. In the classroom, I sit back, yeah I can’t see the board and stuff like that. That’s the real reason why I got them to watch film.”
