DMN: South Oak Cliff three-star offensive lineman Brione Brooks commits to TCU

South Oak Cliff three-star offensive lineman Brione Brooks announced his committment to TCU on Friday night.
Brooks, the 48th-ranked player on The Dallas Morning News’ top 50 recruits list for the class of 2023, also held offers from Oregon, Louisville and Arizona.
A 6-4, 380 pound junior, Brooks won a 5A Div. II state championship with South Oak Cliff (15-1) in December. He helped anchor a offense which averaged 425.27 total yards per game. A first-team all-area honoree, Brooks graded at 96%, didn’t allow a sack all season and helped pave way for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers.
