DMN: SMU QB Preston Stone wins American Athletic Conference player of the week

SMU quarterback Preston Stone was named the American Athletic Conference offensive player of the week on Monday, the league announced.

This is the first time the Parish Episcopal product has won the award in his SMU career.

Stone is coming off a career game against Prairie View A&M over the weekend. The sophomore led the Mustangs to a 69-0 victory over the Panthers.
