DMN: SMU AD Rick Hart in talks with TCU to reschedule Iron Skillet game: ‘We’d both like to play'

SMU athletic director Rick Hart told The Dallas Morning News on Monday that he is in talks with TCU athletic director Jeremiah Donati about scheduling the Iron Skillet rivalry game for December. The game was scheduled for Sept. 12 in Fort Worth but was postponed because of positive COVID-19 cases with the Horned Frogs program.
“Jeremiah and I have been in regular contact throughout the season,” Hart told The News. “We’d both like to play the 100th Iron Skillet game this season if possible and continue to discuss potential options.”
The game was initially scheduled for Sept. 26 in Dallas but was changed to Sept. 12 in Fort Worth. Then the postponement came 10 days before the game happening.
