Formerly a top SMU recruit, Hudson followed Dykes on his move across the Metroplex to Fort Worth. He was a four-star prospect and the ninth-ranked player in The Dallas Morning News’ top 100 recruits list. Hudson caught 67 passes for 1,141 yards and 22 touchdowns for Garland (10-1). He held offers from Alabama, Oklahoma and LSU among others.
