Interesting piece at ESPN about the successful campaign to get the NCAA to bar athletic activity on election day this year and in subsequent years.

Dixon is quoted as the head of the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Somehow, the word "portal" shows up.
The Georgia Tech assistant hoops coach who led the campaign swears it isn't political, but when one party is much more eager to encourage registration/turnout than the other, it's hard not to see that way--although they've done well to keep it nominally nonpartisan.
Let's see if the moderators think it's sufficiently sports-related to stay in the FFF.
