Derby winner fails drug test

Betters keep their money, horse owner and trainer lose everything.

Horse racing is dirty and has been endangering horse and jockey lives for years as a result... Horses are breaking down at a historically high rate and it’s growing year after year, all because the drugs and training have pushed the strength to weight ratio to a point where the horses can’t sustain it. If you care about either the animal or jockey, the sport needs to be cleaned up or we should just end it.

The thoroughbred racing business has become so horse-abusive I just could not stomach it any longer...I gave up on it in favor of other equine sports. I've come to the conclusion there's too much money and too little concern for the horses for the industry ever to be cleaned up.
