When the Big 12 formed two decades ago, TCU was on the outside looking in, and Baylor was on the inside looking up.
With the advent of the Big 12 era, Baylor had 14 straight losing seasons and only once won as many as five games, going 5-6 in 2005.
Baylor won 14 conference games the first 14 years of the league. But at least Baylor was invited to the party.
TCU was left with the remnants of the Southwest Conference in the mid-1990s and drifted from league to league. The WAC. Conference USA. The Mountain West. The Big East. ...
