We have a buddy that's posts ridiculous stuff in our game day group text. I nominated his game day name to be Curt. When and how did that originate? Props in advance to KF.c historians

There was a poster named Curt who made a particularly bombastic prediction on here in the mid to late 2000s. It was a prediction that almost no one agreed with. He had a history of making similar predictions, so I don’t recall exactly which one this was.

When this one turned out to be totally wrong, the term “he Curted” caught on.

I could be wrong but I’m thinking it might have been him saying Utah had absolutely no chance to beat Alabama in the 2009 Sugar Bowl.

Yes. IIRC he said it was going to be a humiliating blowout by Bama, but Utah won. I laughed so hard from the posts that night I had a headache.
