I think the Vegas polls are the oddsmakers and sharps on how they would set lines and bet games. They pay way more attention than any voters do.

Vegas knows

Interestingly Vegas oddsmakers had TCU as best team in nation, but only made us 4 pt favorites against Utah. They obviously know how hard it is to go on road against top-5 team, but were proven wrong by 36 PTA!

I was SURE our line vs Utah would be 11 so I think Vegas lost a ton on this game...but they still had us as a favorite. Vegas sometimes likes to trap or set up voters with "sucker lines". They will make a favorite a higher favorite then many would naturally think only to know that the win will be huge. Thats why I thought 11 was a good number...with them knowing that it would be 20+. 4.5 must have been big enough for them to think that most people would still take Utah. Believe me...they think all this thru.

I think after last weekend...they would have us a 1 pt. favorite over Oregon and a 3 pt. favorite over Auburn on a neutral field.
