Corsicana — “Clash of the Tigers.” What else can I say? I love it. Danieal vs David. I’m not a fan of either the Seahawks or the Bears, but I’ll watch that game just to see the two former teammates go up against one another. Go Tigers!
Jerry has a couple of weekends before the Super Bowl. Why not offer Jerry World up for a little skirmish between Auburn and the Horned Frogs? Gary Patterson has been the ultimate classy coach and gentleman over this national championship thing. Let’s get ‘em under the Jumbotron and settle it mano a mano (which, contrary to popular translation, means hand to hand, not man to man).
And, speaking of the national championship, I thought it said everything you need to know about the BCS when you read that the Idaho coach broke the rules by voting TCU number one. BCS rules clearly state that coaches HAVE to vote for the winner of the championship game. I now have a whole new respect for Idaho; blue field or no blue field. ...
