Columbus Dispatch: Is Boise-TCU match-up a college president's dream?

Sometimes gut reactions are nothing more than indigestion.
My gut reaction to a potential Boise State vs. Texas Christian national championship game matches that of colleague Bob Hunter -- that it would be the best way to kill off the current BCS system and replace it with a playoff. Think about it. Presidents from the BCS conferences would suddenly worry that their schools are getting pushed aside by schools from smaller conferences who play softer schedules.
Nothing like a loss of prestige, power and cash to put the academicians in a tizzy.
But these presidents are crafty critters, which means maybe they would see a Boise-TCU national championship game as the perfect short-term solution to keeping the BCS system intact. ...
