As much as Air Force fans might want to forget Saturday night’s 38-7 loss at TCU, the Falcons won’t let it go. Not yet, anyway.
As usual, Air Force coach Troy Calhoun wants his team to go over all its mistakes during practice today. There were plenty. But he thinks instead of the blowout loss lingering into this week, it could help his team for another test against undefeated Utah, which is ranked eighth in this week’s Associated Press poll.
“There’s a way where tests, even very challenging ones, where it can make you stronger,” Calhoun said.
There’s a sense of urgency for the Falcons. A 5-1 start has been followed by a two-game losing streak, and it could easily reach three Saturday. ...
