Marfa TX is almost that high (in one sense but not the other because its legal in Boulder and lot more kids....)

Used to live out there, and they claimed then its altitude was 4,685 feet. Of course, with climate change it may be over 5,000 by now. Alpine, next door to Maria, is 4,475 feet.

Serena up 5-2 in the second, down 1-0. She is trying her best to shorten the match by coming to the net early in the point, because she knows she doesn't want long points. This is some absolutely epic drama, and I'm not at all a big tennis fan. This match(and tournament, if she survives) will be the subject of some great print journalism in the days to come.
Old warhorse, well past her prime, trying to summon up the reserves for one last grab at the brass ring. Classic.

That's what most thought 2 nites ago. Wonder what she popped between sets 2 and 3, when she left the Court.?. She looked much fresher in set 3 than either 1 or 2.
