GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Even though everything around him has been going at a whirlwind pace, Andy Dalton has managed to remain calm through it all.
Since being drafted in the second round by the Bengals, Dalton has had to learn a new offensive system without the benefit of Organized Team Activities and minicamp and also shoulder some lofty expectations. With Carson Palmer considered “retired” by the franchise, Dalton is viewed by almost everyone to be the starter when the season begins Sept. 11 at Cleveland.
And in the middle of it all, he got married July 9 to Jordan Jones.
In the midst of a hectic training camp, Dalton sat down for a 15-minute question-and-answer session that covered topics ranging from how he views himself to what he thinks of his alma mater, TCU, joining the Big East. ...
