UNM has added two more with a HR. 10-5 lead with 1 out in the bottom of the 8th. This game is essentially done. Good effort today by the Falcons, pitching caught up with them late. UNM win clinches a share of the MWC title.
Frogs can split MWC regular season title by winning tonight and tomorrow. One loss gives UNM an outright title.
As I understand it, the MWC tournament will be seeded: #1 UNM, #2 TCU, #3 SDSU, #4UNLV. So the Frogs will face SDSU again in game 1 in Vegas next weekend.
Post-season berth is essentially assured regardless of how the SDSU series and MWC tournament shake out, but more wins will make for better seeding.
