    OMAHA, Neb. — Virginia coach Brian O’Connor removed his hat and twice ran his fingers through his gray hair.
     
    UVa had just won a game that took nearly five hours. A game that began with two stud starters, featured “middle relief” from a pair of All-American closers and ended when a walk-on pinch-runner crossed home plate. A game that started Tuesday night and came within seconds of finishing Wednesday morning. 
     
    A game that twice featured “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
     
    “I was hoping the next time they played it, they played ‘Take Me to Bed,’” O’Connor quipped.
     
    UVa is one step closer to its first national title in program history after surviving a 15-inning marathon, 3-2, over TCU in the winners’ bracket of the College World Series. ...
