Charleston Gazette Mail: WVU tries to rebound — again — versus TCU

WVU had begun to escape the statements.

You know the ones. “West Virginia has now lost four of five” or “The Mountaineers have lost five of six.”

WVU had whipped Kansas State at home and then earned a hard-fought 75-73 road win against Oklahoma.

Yet on Saturday, West Virginia fell flat again, this time losing at home to Oklahoma State 88-85. And those statements returned. The Mountaineers have now lost six of their last nine games.
