You are right. But, he has had more than a fair chance to prove himself and has yet to do so. We need a fresh approach for our offense.

Question is if he is a good coach? We know he was a Horned Frog which is nice, but what has Illinois done at wide receiver? I'm not saying he would be a horrible choice, I dont know much about him. Can he help game plan, can he recruit, has his talent gone to the NFL? Illinois was almost dead last in passing yards per game. Is TCU going to bail out a coach because he has TCU ties?

we should be in that position. we have the most talent of any big 12 team not named Oklahoma and Texas. our coaching is not getting the job done with that talent.
