Daje took a visit there last month. Thomas Johnson has a visit set up there the week after his visit to TCU. Plus several major national recruits recently selected Cal, including a few from Texas. No idea if this has any impact on our recruiting.
I don't think it helps us, but it certainly doesn't hurt us. We don't really battle head to head with UW, but Tosh was considered to be one of the best recruiters in the nation.
I think the last time I checked, Thomas Johnson had Cal, Oregon and TCU in his final 3. If that is accurate, it may well help us... Big weekend for us with our visiting recruits.
