Apparently it’s called a ring of fire eclipse. Got my special viewing glasses already!Love the intelligence on this forum.
I am guessing most here then are clueless....but FYI, there will be a solar eclipse that day and Fort Worth will get about 80% coverage. It just so happens that it will pass through FW sometime between 11 and 12. Which if it is an 11am kick off, we will get a solar eclipse in the stadium during a game - specifically BYU. Would make for a cool photo op of the stadium and interesting storyline.
Yes, a ring of fire, though FW may not get the full effect.Apparently it’s called a ring of fire eclipse. Got my special viewing glasses already!
I’m hoping for 7pm as I have an engagement that morning.I’m hoping this game is a 11am or 230 since I have an engagement that evening. What are the chances we have 3 night games in row (now that I want it to not happen, it’ll happen lol).
I remember we had the Hawaii game at 11 am. 6 am their time.I doubt seriously BYU gets an 11AM game being in the Mountain Time Zone. I don't know if they have ever had one. They do play a lot of 230 games though.
Yes, and it was cold and damp that day after a front blew in overnight....Scored seats under the deck, but that only created a wind tunnel for the breeze....IIRC, Hawai'i scored on first or second play of the game...a long pass....I remember we had the Hawaii game at 11 am. 6 am their time.
I'm hoping for noon ET for the same reason, opposite end of the day.I’m hoping for 7pm as I have an engagement that morning.
Hopefully it doesn't rain. I can tolerate only so much soaking.
I vaguely recall that. I remember beating them 41-21 or something like that. I would look it up, but I'm lazy.Yes, and it was cold and damp that day after a front blew in overnight....Scored seats under the deck, but that only created a wind tunnel for the breeze....IIRC, Hawai'i scored on first or second play of the game...a long pass....
BYU won’t get 11 AM kicks as they draw viewers and most live in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.Guessing 11 AM.
Plenty of seats for Jug’s kids!!The fair weather fans will be done now anyways.
It will be entirely up to the televised media. TCU has no say in time, date, location, game time music, tv commercial breaks, length of game or fan experience. What time do they announce the kickoff time?
Expect BYU players ringing your doorbell that morning asking, “Are you familiar with The Church of Jesus Christ?”Just posted on GoFrogs... 2:30 pm
