Uh, not even close. And I can say this.
We are talking straight play by play skills. Is Estridge good? Yes, he has improved since his first year. Is Estridge Coop? (Heck) no. Not even close.
Here's what you like about Estridge: He is the best ambassador for TCU sports the broadcast team has ever had (throw JD in there as well). He is more of a homer than Coop (which is fine), and that is why you think he is better skills-wise than Coop. He is not in Coop's league. But that's OK. I am glad TCU has him and hope he stays for a long time.

Not talking just school pbp guys, but all. Coop is one of the best ever. Estridge is really, really good, but I wouldn't put him with Coop. There's a separation there.

The team of Denton and Estridge definitely one of the best.

Estridge is the best fit for TCU. No argument there. He is TCU. JD also. Love them both!
HOWEVER, unless you have actually broadcast as many games and sports as I on the radio I don't think you can tell me a damn thing about this. I DO know what the hell I am talking about.
