So basketball generates more money, but it is divided by a much larger pool of participating schools. While Football generates less total money, but on a per-school basis it is much more than basketball (Big East seems to be the only conference that gets more revenue per school from basketball).

One more reason to boot Texas Tech out of major college football.

BB to Big East is to FB to SEC.Also,AQ schools financially morph Non-AQ schools and no hope for it getting better.TCU made a good move to the BE.

I would think that football budgets and expense are much greater than for basketball, so I wonder how the proportion of football expenses that are covered by BCS payments compare to the proportion of basketball expenses that are covered by the NCAA tournament payments.
