I was watching on my phone because I was at another game that day.

Totally missed the fact that on Baylor's 4th and 2 punt at the end, we needed to run off our twelfth defender.

That would have been the worst way to lose...

If TCU wins today, we'll have won 8 out of the last nine in two, 4-year sequences. Meaning, there will be 2 sets of Baylor players who lost to TCU all 4 years.

To quote Fake Mark Cuban: "Oh, too bad!"

Give the officials credit for how they handled the situation on the series leading up to the kick. That was good football all the way around.

Was watching from high in the opposite end zone from the kick with my son. With about two minutes left in the game you could see a mass of Baylor fans crowding toward the first few rows down the entire length of the left side of the stadium. My son said Dad they’re going to rush the field. When we made that kick the whole thing played out almost in slow motion it was so methodical. The crowd noise immediately stopped except for a few people on the berm and crowd around us. I’m sure there were more TCU people around the stadium but it was just a gut punch for Baylor and the air went out of the stadium. Walking out there were three looks on bear fans faces - stupid, dazed and piissed off. It was glorious!

Yes, everything about that finish was perfect, but the ridiculous is that Baylor people are correct - the “still undefeated” did not end with a conference championship. The 12-0 has a big hollow void in it; feels a bit meaningless because a stupid Conference Championship Game stripped the 12-0 deserved winner of its significance and glory. Kansas State is the crowned 2022 Big XII Champion and for the Horned Frogs the conference season ended 12-1, no longer undefeated, but defeated and 2nd.

What was lost couldn’t have been more on display when we saw Max’s distraught tears and gut-wrenching words after the Conference Championship game. We have never witnessed a more gut-wrenching interview of an athlete in sport than that one. Ripped and stripped.

That was a great moment, but illustrates how tenuous our success and road to the CFP was last year; and how close it could have been just like this year has been…

I was watching from my phone from my son’s fall ball HS baseball game in Sunrise Florida. No one around me could understand why I was so excited. Thumbs up to my son in right field produced a smile not much after giving him the thumbs down sign.
I was at a very cold Minnesota-Iowa football game and we were tailgating. I originally planned to bring a laptop and tether it to my phone to stream but ultimately just watched on the phone. I had 2-3 people huddled around my phone, shivering, watching the end of the game play out.

The kick went up... and my daughter called me, covering the part of the screen where you could see the ball. I saw the TCU fans under the uprights celebrating.

My daughter had been watching and my phone was probably 15 seconds behind; she was calling to celebrate.

Sounds like something that usually happens to me. It’s usually my wife calling during the last play of a game.
