Baylor Taking off the Tarp?

The Frog fans better get down to Waco and support the team. Rumored on the Baylor board that they're going to take off the tarp in the end zone due to high ticket demand. It sure would be nice to see about 5,000 Frog fans in that end zone. I wonder what the attendance record is for that stadium . . .

I think that is a record that's within reach if 10-12k TCU folks show up which I think is very possible. My estimation is that we had about 9-10k last time we played there.

A.) Opponent bringing a lot of fans
B.) Early in the season before their dreams are crushed by reality

It's still a Friday night game isn't it? If so, I predict that it will not happen. Virtually all high schools in the Waco and Ft. Worth-areas are playing that night (with the notable exception of Waco Midway which plays on Thursday night). I know that at least sixty of those previous 9-10K which showed for a Saturday afternoon game will not be there. Older fans attendance may be diminished somewhat due to return I-35 travel late at night. I would hope that we could pack it out with a large showing of purple, but I'm not as optimistic.
