He looked good from what little action he got

Just wondering if we were fitting him into a hole last year and this is a more natural fit

And of course his arm strength but like someone said - covering ground is probably primary issue and he has pretty good wheels

Does this mean you're really high on Humphreys? Thought he had some dropoff last year after promising freshman campaign but everything fell apart and I stopped following as closely because I'm a fair weather fan.

I felt like he began breaking down which is understandable IMO

I think we actually have three catchers and two very capable ones....Alex Isola juco transfer from Arizona....currently leads team in home runs this fall and looked VERY good yesterday...third guy is switch hitting freshman from Minnesota

And per the recruiting websites, we have another very good catcher coming next year from St Louis

He’s an above average college player at that position IMO.

Agree - hopefully he paces himself this year and we get some more rest

He was worn out by the end of the year
