It’s crazy: Big 12 has Texas on top as TCU, Oklahoma State hit skids

What’s this? Texas Tech won a game even though it scored only 17 points. Last time that happened was in 2001, when Red Raiders head coach Kliff Kingsbury was the Red Raiders’ quarterback.
What’s this? Oklahoma State already has lost three games, all of them Big 12 contests. The last time the Cowboys had dropped this many games at this point in the season was 2007.
What’s this? TCU ranks last in the league in turnovers. The Horned Frogs have committed 15. A year ago, in 14 games, they had 17. Maybe this is why TCU, a team expected to contend for the Big 12 title, is now trying to right a season that’s trending toward mediocre. The Frogs are 3-3 with a home date against Oklahoma this week.
