FORT WORTH, Texas - The Arizona Wildcats did everything they could to slow down TCU pitcher Matt Purke in Saturday night's NCAA Regional.
They stepped out of the box. They double-checked and triple-checked the signs from third base coach Mark Wasikowski. They worked counts and fouled off pitches, trying to get in the golden-armed lefty's head.
Purke just glared at them.
