FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Jared Wiley is TCU's big tight end, and twice he got wide open in the middle of the field for touchdowns against Baylor.

Wiley caught seven passes for 178 yards with catch-and-run scores of 81 and 28 yards, and Emani Bailey added two long touchdown runs as the Horned Frogs snapped a three-game losing streak with a 42-17 victory over their instate rival Saturday.

“Every time I looked for him, he was like running wide open, making guys miss and running great routes,” said quarterback Josh Hoover, who was 24-of-29 passing for 412 yards with both of his touchdowns to the 6-foot-7 tight end.

No need to worry about making a bowl game this year, Sleazy Sonny is incapable of winning a game with something on the line, so blowout coming in Norman.

Across town they will have plenty of extra practices coming as they prepare for a conference title game, then a likely Fiesta Bowl appearance on the way to a superior conference July 1 2024.

This will help build momentum on an already top 10 class ‘25 class which is clearly being impacted by news of moving to the 3rd best conference in the NCAA.

A year ago when Sonny was the toast of the town, anyone envision this 180 degree shift where TCU doesn’t qualify for a bowl and The Pony Express is officially back?

Someone might want to let the Big 12 commish know that they passed on the best team in the metroplex when skipped over SMU a couple times on their way to add a few more Junior College caliber institutions that clearly were out manned when making “the jump”. Maybe if they combine U of H’s and Cincy’s wins together, might qualify for some garbage bowl somewhere

That ladies and gents is what you’d call a mic drop…I’m out!

So losing all those NFL guys had no impact? They were the ones getting the practice time, not most of these starters.

Insert .gif of people laughing.

So lemme get this straight... You're laughing at us after we just beat our rival 42-17? And your claim to fame is that you're record is better than ours? You played the likes of the Mighty Rice Owls (and barely won), the juggernauts North Texas and Prarieview? How ever did you prevail??

The ONLY P5 teams you played this year beat you, and you think you're ready for the big leagues? You are about to become as irrelevant as you...oh, wait. You've already BEEN irrelevant for the past 40 years. Let's look at that statement again.

40.
Years.

In that time we've been champions of 4 different conferences, won multiple NY6 bowl games, won a championship semifinal game, and played (and admittedly got curb stomped) in the National Championship.

How many times have you finished a season ranked in the top 25 since you cheated back in the 80's? I'd say "I'll hang up and listen", but I know you won't respond.

[ muschi ]...I'm sorry, I meant Pony.

Good Lord. Don't tease the moron! It's cruel to the rest of us, and makes it think it has done something worthy of attention. Just use the handy "ignore" feature, and laugh quietly to yourself about how crushingly pathetic it's life is, and how it richly deserves it.

You have beaten exactly no one. You lost to us by 17, and we are very mediocre this year after losing 9 players to the NFL. Can't wait until your coach is at Arkansas next year and you go 3-9 your first year in the ACC making no money.

Fair enough, sorry for being drawn offsides by ponyboy.

Oh, I began typing out a brutal trip to the woodchipper for the imbecile, but realized that not only would it 1.) Be confused about all the big words, and 2.) Be immune to cogent argument and/or sarcasm, I simply blocked and moved on.

Trolls are worthy of nothing more than scorn and banishment. They get their kicks off of attention. To ignore them is the cruelest penalty we could mete out.
