Nobody was loud because we are boring to watch.

Even if you are a person who thinks that the offense is boring is watch, I'm not sure why that stops you from being able to make noise while the defense is on the field. Those two things seem totally unrelated.

Better than past years

I commented to my wife that it was the best I could remember. Most of the purple I saw was painted seats.

It looked good on TV. I texted my folks, family, etc at the game and commented about the nice turnout. They responded that there were a lot of empty seats, but I didn't catch-see that from the broadcast.

There were some coeds in our section with their parents. They got the white memo... and it was pretty spectacular.

well it just isn't great - the first game it was ok - but it doesn't build to anything. Maybe if they added actually doing the cheer like in years before at the end for at least a couple of times.

But it is lame as is...

If you want to complain about something fan related then go with the crowds constant refusal to make any noise. It seems like there was a time where we at least had a loud student section but they can't be bothered to make any noise either most of the time.

CDC destroyed our atmosphere. It was apparently all part of his master plan.
