TCU's sloppy play on both sides of the ball leads to 30-19 loss to Houston
Jeremy ClarkFort Worth, Texas – TCU played one of their worst games of the season as they fell behind early against Houston, losing to the Cougars 30-19 on Friday night at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The Frogs fell behind 17-0 and were down 24-6 at the half.
With the loss, TCU fell to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in Big 12 play. Houston snapped a two-game losing streak where they had been shutout two consecutive weeks and improved to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in Big 12 play.
Houston held TCU to their lowest yardage mark on the season, limiting the Frogs to just 299 total yards. Meanwhile, Houston totaled 366 yards including 260 in the first half. Houston entered the game with the Big 12's lowest scoring offense (10.4) and total offense (285 yards per game).
