TCU won't host homecoming festivities due to COVID-19 concerns

As the nation continues to grapple with the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis, the homecoming activities have been called off for at least one Power 5 school this fall. TCU announced on Thursday that it will not hold homecoming weekend activities this year due to the virus.
TCU's homecoming weekend had been scheduled for the weekend of October 17, coinciding with the school's home football game vs. Kansas State. TCU Family Weekend, slated for September, was also tentatively postponed until Spring 2021 due to concerns over the virus.
