TCU takes series from Houston with 6-2 win

FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs have a little momentum, it would seem, following a 6-2 win over Houston on Friday night.
The win marked TCU's first Big 12 series win of the season, on the fourth weekend, bringing them to 19-7 overall and 4-7 in conference play.
Payton Tolle was dominant for the second straight outing, pitching into the ninth inning and striking out 13. He used his full arsenal well, with a fastball up to 94 mph complimented by a hard slider, a curveball and a changeup.
