TCU LB Namdi Obiazor Plans to Return to TCU in 2025​

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — TCU linebacker Namdi Obiazor plans to take advantage of a recent ruling to return to the Horned Frogs in 2025, he told HornedFrogBlitz on Saturday. HornedFrogBlitz spoke to Obiazor following TCU's 34-3 win over Louisiana in the Isleta New Mexico Bowl.

"I've talked with the coaches, and so far I plan on coming back next year," Obiazor said.

Obiazor, a JUCO product, is eligible for another season thanks to a recent ruling in a lawsuit brought about by Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia. Pavia filed a lawsuit against the NCAA under the basis that his time spent at a junior college shouldn't count against his four years of NCAA eligibility. The NCAA Board of Directors ruled in his favor.

Was going to say the same. It’s great to have that experience back, but he’s struggled the last couple of years. Really like what I saw from Carrol this year.
