TCU head coach Jamie Dixon thinks the redshirt rule needs to change​

Something has been gnawing at TCU head coach Jamie Dixon, and he’s starting to talk about it.

“I don’t get on too many things publicly,” Dixon said. “But that one I have been.”

The redshirt rule in college basketball needs to change, according to Dixon.

The NCAA changed college football’s redshirt rule in 2018, allowing players to play in as many as four games while retaining their eligibility.

TCU is a prime example of that. The Frogs have seven players on their roster who have a college degree already in hand.
