TCU gets run-ruled by Cincinnati as Bearcats clinch sweep of Frogs, 13-2​

The Horned Frogs hit rock bottom on Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati, getting run ruled, and swept, by the Bearcats 13-2.

TCU grabbed the early momentum, using a lead off home run from Chase Brunson to take a 1-0 lead in the first inning. A bunt single from Sam Myers in the following at bat made it seem like TCU would pile on, before Cincinnati grabbed the game right back.

A 6-4-3 double play off the bat of Anthony Silva erased the runner and stifled TCU's momentum in the top of the inning. The Bearcats used two singles to get their first run across, before Josh Kross launched a two-run home run to put Cincinnati up 3-1.
