TCU drops series opener to Oklahoma, 7-3

FORT WORTH – TCU dropped its second straight Friday night game to a Big 12 opponent, losing to Oklahoma, 7-3, in the series opener.
The Horned Frogs (15-3, 1-3) mustered just three runs on six hits, stranding eight, against two good Sooner arms.
TCU scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second inning to take an early lead. Anthony Silva worked a one out walk, moving to third base on a double off the bat of Karson Bowen. A Ryder Robinson sacrifice fly drove Silva home for the 1-0 lead.
