Most experienced Big 12 football teams ahead of the 2020 season

As college football continues to grapple with the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is becoming clearer that returning experience could prove to be a bigger factor than most years in the success of a team during the 2020 season.
When the Big 12 Conference suspended all regular-season competitions, on- and off-campus recruiting, and out-of-season practices on March 12, half of the league’s teams — Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, West Virginia — had just begun practice with TCU (February 28) starting the earliest in the league.
That means five Big 12 teams did not have a spring football.
