Kentucky guard Maddie Scherr commits to TCU

TCU added their second commitment of the day in the transfer portal as Kentucky guard Maddie Scherr is heading to the Horned Frogs, a source confirmed to HornedFrogBlitz.
Scherr joins LSU's Hailey Van Lith in transferring to the Horned Frogs.
As a senior, Scherr averaged 12.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Wildcats in 26 games played. Scherr spent two seasons with Kentucky, prior to which she spent two seasons at Oregon. TCU head coach Mark Campbell was an assistant at Oregon during Sherr's freshman season and played a major role in recruiting her to the Ducks.
