7-5
Mostly agree. It’s only Sonny’s 3rd year, but it’s time to start seeing a greater consistency in the quality of depth and play across the board. For better or worse, I think we'll know a lot about Sonny as a head coach after this year. His willingness to part ways with Gillespie makes me optimistic. Last year was very disappointing but I'm not ready to conclude that 13-2 was a fluke and 5-7 is the real version. I still suspect it's closer to the other way around.
I am going 12-0. Only a Frenchman sees defeat before the game is played.
“do your job….”Dykes can’t coach him up.
That’s a real possibility.4-8. This season is going to hurt.
This really brings up the issue of mobility. They had a leash on Hoover last year, and with a back injury I can't imagine they'd let him tuck it and run. Without that threat of running, he'd just take hits in the collapsing pocket...That’s a real possibility.
The unspecified injury requiring surgery to Josh Hoover was a back injury.
If the reports regarding his full recovery for this season are not accurate, or he
re-aggravates it, the season could be a lot worse than ”going to hurt”.
It’s troubling for sure. Josh is not fast to begin with, as he runs a 4.85 @ 40 yds, and Seals is slower. This really brings up the issue of mobility. They had a leash on Hoover last year, and with a back injury I can't imagine they'd let him tuck it and run. Without that threat of running, he'd just take hits in the collapsing pocket...
