Man, the clock management by the officials and the Texans at the end of the half was totally screwed up!

Joe Mixon looking mighty fine for the Texans so far. 6.1 per carry 119 yards and the longest run only 13 yards. He loves contact, a bruiser. And stays low. Line has been good opening big holes too

Yep, that video of him breaking the girls face is horrid, and he should have been dismissed from the school, sheesh. I can’t remember if he was ever legally charged for that. A black mark on Stoop’s tenure there.

Mixon finished with 30 carries, 159 yards at 5.3 per carry; the longest only 13 yards. Texans with 212 rushing total and possessed the ball for 40 of the 60 minutes. I always say I prefer to watch a good running game - each good running play evolving with all its moving parts - a thing of beauty today with the line opening holes and Mixon leaning into them and finishing strong, punishing - awesome.

Turp had a drop over the middle but Cowboys finished TD drive anyway. Turp gotta make that catch if he wants to do anything more than returns.
